Jiwan James
Former University of Florida signee and professional baseball player for the Philadelphia Phillies and Detroit Tigers. During his time in the Phillies system, Baseball America would name him a top 10 prospect in the organization, the best athlete in the organization, having the best outfield arm, the best defensive outfielder, and also the fastest base runner. In 2010 Jiwan set a team record 24 game hit streak for the Lakewood Blueclaws which still stands today. One of Jiwan's biggest moments during his playing career was robbing a over the wall homerun that would be the #1 play on ESPN.

2016 State Champions at Santa Fe College. Went to the Juco World Series. Hint.326 with 4 home runs.
2018 second team all conference at Santa Fe College.
Coach Cano has been working with Coach Snead’s catchers since 2020.
He began coaching with the Naturals in 2021.
He coached 11u north in the spring and 11u south in the fall.
This Spring he is coaching 10U north and 11U south.

AS A JUNIOR (2020)
HONORS: D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award; SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll … appeared in 17 games in his first year at Florida Southern as the Mocs primary shortstop… slashed .203/.289/.438 with 13 hits… had three homers, four doubles, and one triple… scored 12 runs while driving in eight… best game came against Lincoln Memorial (Feb. 21) when he went 3-3 at the plate with two runs scored, a triple, and one RBI… was tied for the SSC lead with four sacrifice bunts and was tied for second in the conference with sacrifice flies with 3… led the conference with seven total sacrifices.
AT SANTA FE COLLEGE (2018-19)
Spent two seasons at Santa Fe College where he batted .303 as a freshman and .328 as a sophomore ... had 32 stolen bases in his final season ... scored 73 runs in his two seasons ... helped lead the Saints to a Mid-Florida Conference Tournament title and an appearance in the NJCAA Region 8 Tournament in 2019 ... named to the FCSAA all-tournament team.
